I find very good and quick relief from migraines when using Ergotamine without suffering any significant adverse effects. I myself have been suffering from frequent and severe migraines for about 20 years, and it was by mere coincidence that I developed a method at the beginning of 2003 which helped significantly improve the efficacy of Ergotamine against migraines despite using a very low dosage.
You suffer from migraines like myself and cannot cope with the current avaible therapies? In this case I hope I am able to help you through my own experience not only as a doctor physician but also as someone who has to cope with the same problem !
Under the heading >>> "The New Method“ you can find an illustrated description of the new procedure.
Under the heading >>> "Delivery Addresses“ you can find a list of European pharmacies which supply Ergotamine (20 tablets à 1 mg ~ 5,00 Euro / 10 US Dollar, sufficient for ~ 30 attacks) .
Under the heading >>> "Adverse Effects“ you can find information about adverse effects and also about precautionary measures which should be taken when using Ergotamine and Triptans as well as other migraine medication. Some information is also provided about possible reasons why Ergotamine is being forced out of the market.
I strongly recommend not to use the information from this experience report without a prior personal consultation and examination by a physician, since Ergotamine - just like all other medications (Triptan / pain killers) - can lead to severe adverse effects when used incorrectly.
During the initial consultation, please let your physician know that the planned monthly dosage of Ergotamine is only one sixth of the current maximum dosage of 20 mg per month. Make sure you find a physician who is not only willing to think outside of the box, but is also willing to review the scientific evidence provided on this website.
In migraine do not use more than 1/2 mg per day, 1 mg of Ergotamine in one week, or 3 mg of Ergotamine within the space of one month. This allows for six applications of ½ mg per month. Do not combine Ergotamine with Triptans within a time frame of 72 hours.
If your current treatment of migraine is effective and has few adverse effects, there is no sense in changing the treatment to Ergotamine. Just stick to the therapy which works well for you.
Ergotamine is also effective against severe tension headaches and cluster headache (Bing Horton).
"Ergotamine derivatives are effective for quick suppression of cluster attacks when administered on a daily schedule for a short period...." >>> Guidelinecentral ™
Using my method, it is possible to reduce the monthly dosage of Ergotamine and suppression of an attack occurs within a shorter period.
